How Important Are YOU?

That's right, how important are you?
Have you been feeling like your role as a wife is meaningless?
Have you been thinking that what you are doing will never get noticed?
Are you frustrated with how things have gone in the past so you don't want to even think about the future?

If you are feeling like your role is wothless, you need to think again. It is time to retrain our brain!
What you do as a wife, every single day, whether it is noticed or not, makes a statement!
What has your statement been saying lately?

This past week we focused on loving the Lord, and putting some energy back into that relationship instead of just coasting by. We also focused on loving yourself. Oh yes, how hard has that been? When, as women, are we going to start realizing that we are beautiful, and not in a conceded way. Just a pure way of thinking based on the knowledge the Bible gives us. You are beautiful and your role as a wife is precious and full of meaning.

Today we are on our last lesson for week two. Loving your husband, and I share a personal story about how I almost lost the chance to show my husband just how much he means to me when he could have lost his life, when the unknown was a shadow following our every move. This is the day that we realize we are vital to the success and direction that our marrige is headed. You can do this! I believe in you!

Love you,
Heather

Fun Times

It's that time again! Today is the day you get to do something fun for your husband. Think about his favorite drink, dinner, or movie and surprise him tonight. Maybe you have some extra time on your hands. Go over the acts of inspiration in the back of the study and find something new and different you haven't done before. Better yet, come up with something original from your own creative self! This is the time our love is put into action. Have fun - keep smiling - and enjoy every moment with your husband!

Love ya,
Heather

You Are Important!

Today you are going to be thinking about yourself! I know, hold the applause. This is something that most women have a hard time doing. Maybe you are great at thinking about other things, other people, and just about everything else except yourself. Today that will change. You see, in order to love someone else, you have to have to love yourself. What good would it do to constantly show love to other people when you are miserable inside about YOU!

There might be some challenges inside this chapter for you, but it will be well worth working them out. It is time to get a new perspective of you so get busy!

You are beautiful!

Love Letters

How did it go yesterday? I know it was a great reminder for myself, to read those song lyrics and realize just how precious our Savior truly is. Are you ready to do something special for your husband today?

Love letters are a great way to do something simple that will last a lifetime. Who said your acts of inspiration had to be complicated? It is so important to make this your own. No one knows your husband better than you. Take advantage of that knowledge and use it! Have fun today and enjoy the process.

Love you,
Heather

Week Two

Here we are - week two of The Inspired Wife. Today we are going to take a look into our hearts, specifically with our relationship with the Lord. You will take an honest look at a description of where you are spiritually and what can be improved.

Just as our relationships with our husbands can be complacent, so can our relationship with our Heavenly Father. It is important to be realistic and truly honest wiht ourselves as we continue this process. You can't strengthen your relationship with your husband if your spritual tank is on empty.

He was Noah's fortress.
He was Daniel's rock.
He was Jonah's deliverer
He is our redeemer!

Enjoy the process of change as we are challenged to be more than we were yesterday.

Love always,
Heather

Congratulations!

Hey there! I am so very proud of you. You have completed the first week of The Inspired Wife.
How are you doing? Hopefully you have noticed a difference in your perspective. It is so important to continue doing your acts of inspiration. Nothing shows your husband you love him more than doing something special and unexpected for him.

The journal at the end of week one is a great way to really write out your feelings and frustrations. This isn't an over night process. You will hear me say it a million times. It is about taking baby steps. Enjoy your weekend and meet me back here on Monday!

I am so excited about next week! We will be looking at the way we love the Lord, the way we love ourselves, and the way we love our husbands. Lots to look forward to!

You are doing fantastic!
Love you,
Heather

Week One is Almost Done

Welcome back! I hope you have enjoyed your week so far. This is your last day for Bible study this week. We have looked at the beginning of your relationship and the precious rib! Today your focus will be on becoming united again.

It is important to remember that the Lord didn't put you together to just exist. He put you together to have fun, enjoy the union of marriage, and finding out new things about each other. How great would it be to find out something new about your husband today? So let's get started on page 20 - you don't want to miss this.

If you are feeling challenged up to this point, go back to the contract and reread what you agreed to. Sometimes things don't always go the way we plan them in our relationships, but we can control the positive things that we can contribute to our husbands. Enjoy the day, give thanks to the Lord for creating a husband for you - just for you! There are 6.3 million women out there who are single - and you are not one of them - Rejoice in that!

You are inspired,
Heather

Something Fun!

Here we go! It is time for another pick of your favorite act of inspiration. What will you do for your husband today? Whatever it is, remember to have fun, fun, and more fun!

Don't forget about what you learned yesterday. You are blessed, trust in the Lord forever, Let Him be your refuge and fortress, and don't lean on your own understanding. Can it be tough sometimes to follow through, absolutely, but you will be so glad you did.

As you plan your day out, think about what your husband is doing at this very moment. Is he providing for your family, interviewing for a new job, or on his lunch break? Whatever his plans are be sure to let him know how much you truly appreciate him and his role as your husband.

Have a fantastic day!
Heather

Did you say rib?

So how did you do yesterday? Hopefully you found something fun to do for your husband and if you are like me, it has been a while since that has happened. Thankfully I am being reminded daily of how important it is to truly make "love" a verb, putting some action into our life instead of always being reactive.

Today we are going to be on page 16 and we get to find out about the true creation of Eve. When was the last time you have seen a rib lately, and I am not talking about the McDonalds kind ladies! We have qualities, some stronger than others, and that is what makes each and every one of us unique, no two ribs are the same!

Today is a new day, forget about what went wrong yesterday and focus on this very moment and the time you are going to spend in God's word today. I believe in you - you can do this!
I am here for you!

Heather

Today is the day you get to pick one, any one, and show your husband just how much he means to you. This is a huge part of this study so have fun! Enjoy this process and make time to make a difference in the life of your husband today!

In The Beginning

Welcome to week one of The Inspired Wife!
I am so excited for you and this adventure you are about to start in your marriage, specifically, your role as a wife! Hopefully by now you have the book, but if not, it is never too late to order. Just go to http://www.theinspiredwife.com/ and find the order tab for further instructions. Let's get started!

On vii you will find the Introduction, so you'll want to read this first. Think of it as your road map, the directions you need on this journey. Next, you will find the contract. This is such an important part of the process. You need to really focus on why you picked up this study in the first place. This book will challenge you and these promises are just the beginning. Read over each of the five promises listed on page ix and sign and date the bottom. This is the beginning and I know you are going to be so thankful you have taken on this challege.

Now you can get started! The first lesson is on page 11 and it is focused on "The Beginning". This lesson for today will bring back some great memories from the very first time you met your future husband. That is the great thing about this study, it will help you remember why you fell in love with who you fell in love with. Those feelings, those butterflies, those precious memories are about to be uncovered again! How easy it is to forget all the positives and focus on the all the negatives. In this very moment you are going to bring back those memories and make some new ones too.

Oh yes, you will be tested as you go through this first week. But just focus on that awesome verse in Job 23:10, But he knows the way that I take; when he has tested me, I will come forth as gold. You CAN do this! I am so very proud of you so get started and I would love to hear from you along the way. Check back tomorrow for more inspiration!

Let me pray for you:

Dear Lord,

I just pray right now for each and every lady that is reading this very page at this very moment. I pray that you would touch their hearts and begin to fill their vessel up with an overflowing love for you. Without your love, how could we possibly love our husbands? Help each person, for such a time is this, to let go of the ordinary and become extraodinary! Help each of us to forget about what could have been and focus on what we will be, for YOU! Thank you for your unconditional love. In Jesus name I pray, AMEN!

I love you and am here for you,

Heather
